Announcement of July 5 Field Trip, Seminar and BBQ

GRANITE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY   ANNUAL  FIELD TRIP AND SEMINAR

WHEN:           JULY 5, 2014

BEGINS AT  8:30 AM
STAGING AREA EAST END OF BROADWAY AT THE JAMES STUART/ HOPE MILL SITE, ON BROADWAY 1 BLOCK EAST OF THE BANK, SAME SIDE OF THE STREET. 


WHAT:     FIELD TRIP TO “THE DEVIL’S
EYEBROW/ARROW POINT” (THANKS, SKINNER RANCH AND CO-FIELD TRIP LEADER, KATIE MCDONALD),  HENDERSON GULCH AND EMMETSBURG MONUMENT.

12:30: BRING YOUR OWN BROWN BAG 
           LUNCH AT JAMES STUART MILLSITE

1PM: SEMINAR at Granite County Museum
TOPICS: NATIVE AMERICANS, MEDICINE TREE HILL, FUR-TRADERS  AND  MOUNTAIN MEN
PRESENTATIONS BY: Gary Little, Ted Antonioli and Loraine Bentz Domine
